Sizing Guide

Precise measurements are essential for a flawless press on nail fit. Proper sizing ensures maximum wear, comfort, and a seamless, natural finish. 

Please follow the step-by-step guide below to accurately measure your natural nails and determine your standard preset sizes. 

If you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. Please note that certain shapes (especially Stiletto) can run slightly narrower on the pinky compared to shapes like Almond.

Option 1: The Tape Method

Prepare 
Use clear tape (such as Scotch tape) and a ruler marked in millimetres (mm). 

Apply
Place the tape across the widest part of your nail bed, ensuring it lies flat and follows the natural curve of the nail. 

Mark
Using a pen, mark the tape at the point where the nail meets the skin on both sidewalls. Avoid overlapping onto the cuticle. 

Record
Carefully document the measurements for all ten nails as left and right hands may differ. 

Verify 
Compare your millimetre measurements to the size chart (e.g. 0=18mm, 1=16mm, 2=15mm).

Option 2: Measuring Tape Method

Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your nail. Align the "0" with one sidewall and count the millimetre markings to determine the width. Record the width of each nail, measuring all ten nails on both hands. 

Option 3: Custom Sizing

If your measurements do not fit our preset sizes, please include your exact sizes in the  notes section at checkout. 

Sizing Kits

Sizing Kits are the only 100% accurate way to ensure a proper fit. Please note that we only recommend using sizing kits from MNI, as other brands may vary significantly in sizing. 

All of our designs are crafted using Apres Soft Gel Tips across all shapes and lengths. Keep in mind that sizing may vary slightly depending on the shape and length selected (for example, stiletto styles tend to be narrower). To ensure the perfect fit, we strongly recommend purchasing a sizing kit for each shape and length you plan to order. 

For enhanced precision, the kit includes half sizes: 00, 4.5, 5.5, and 6.5. We recommend fitting each nail tip to all ten nails to determine the most accurate size for each finger. Please note that we do not offer exchanges for refunds for sizing-related errors. 

BE ADVISED: Our Natural range has a flatter surface with a less pronounced C curve meant for clients with a flatter, wider nail bed. Our Sculptured range has a higher apex and a deeper C curve, meant for either clients with a curved nail bed or a Natural client who prefers the look of a Sculpted gel tip.
